Alerts

You find out when it happens.

Not at month-end, once revenue has already dropped. Scoutvo watches your own products and every competitor you track — and tells you when something changes that you need to know about.

Why it matters

The most expensive changes are the ones you see too late

On Amazon everything happens quietly. Nobody writes to you when the Buy Box is gone or a competitor undercuts you — you notice it in the revenue, weeks later.

The Buy Box slips away silently

You are still on the page, but the buy button belongs to someone else. Without a notice you often only spot it when the numbers fall.

A competitor undercuts you

One price cut is enough to knock you out of the comparison. Checking daily leaves no time to run your business — not checking means reacting too late.

The market moves without you

New sellers, swapped main images, sudden review jumps: small signals that together explain why your rank is sliding.

What is watched

Two levels: your listing and your entire competitive field

That is the decisive difference. Alerts do not only cover your own ASINs but every competitor you track in Scoutvo — you set it once per own product, and it applies to all linked competitors.

Your own products

5 events

Market events on your listing. On by default, switchable per product.

  • Buy Box lost — Your listing no longer holds the Buy Box — the buy button now points at someone else.
  • Out of stock — Your offer is no longer buyable. Every day counts double here, because your rank suffers too.
  • New seller — Someone else has joined your listing and is selling on it.
  • Price drop — Your own price falls below the threshold you set — as an amount or as a percentage.
  • New entrant gaining ground — A seller who was irrelevant a moment ago is quickly gaining share in your category.

The price alert is a rule with its own threshold: either a fixed amount or a percentage.

Every competitor you track

11 types

Eleven change types — set once per own product, valid for every competitor linked to it.

  • Price — A competitor cuts their price — either from X percent down, or as soon as they go below your own price.
  • Buy Box — The Buy Box on a competitor's listing changes hands.
  • Bestseller rank — The BSR jumps sharply — up or down.
  • Reviews — An unusual number of new reviews at once.
  • Rating — The star average shifts.
  • Availability — The competitor has sold out — your window.
  • Offers — The number of sellers on the listing changes.
  • Images — The main image or the gallery was swapped.
  • Content — Title, bullets or description were reworked.
  • Coupon — A discount coupon appears or disappears.
  • Badge — A badge like “Amazon's Choice” or “Best Seller” comes or goes.

For price you can also say: alert me as soon as a competitor goes below my own price.

You set it once, not per competitor. Open your own product, pick the change types — and Scoutvo applies them to every competitor linked to that product. If a competitor joins later, your setting covers them automatically.
Alerts don't consume analyses. They run alongside your report quota and never eat into it. How many price rules you can run in parallel depends on your plan — 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Pro, 200 on Agency.
Every tracked competitor takes one ASIN seat. Remove one and the seat is free again immediately — data already collected stays in your reports.
You set the sensitivity

When is a change worth telling you about?

Every type has a threshold. These are the defaults — you can adjust them per product so you don't get a message over every cent.

ChangeAlerts fromWhy this value
Price movementfrom 5 %Ignore small fluctuations, report real discount campaigns.
Bestseller rankfrom 30 %A jump of that size almost always has a reason.
Reviewsfrom 10 % or 50Catches both small listings and large ones.
Ratingfrom 0.1 starsReacts early, before a trend settles into the average.

Buy Box, availability, offers, images, content, coupon and badge report every change — there is no meaningful “from when” for those.
